About Us

The E.A.T. (Eating Awareness Therapy) Program consists of the foundational components of eating disorder treatment, which include psychotherapeutic interventions and nutrition counseling. Multidisciplinary treatment is proven to provide the best treatment outcomes for eating disorder recovery. The E.A.T. program gladly collaborates with all specialists on an individual's treatment team.

The E.A.T. Program offers comprehensive outpatient psychotherapy and nutrition counseling services to adolescents and adults. Working together, we specialize in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, disordered eating, orthorexia, exercise obsession and body image dissatisfaction. The E.A.T. Program addresses cognitive, emotional, behavioral distress. Since many eating disorder sufferers also struggle with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms and post-traumatic stress, our program addresses these issues as well.

We utilize a holistic approach to treat eating disorders. We understand the need for flexibility in treatment approaches. The E.A.T. Program combines Eastern and Western philosophies by utilizing the principles of yoga such as breathing techniques, meditation, awareness, mindfulness and asana. We also provide a variety of therapeutic treatment styles such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IT), and more.

The E.A.T. Program follows an Intuitive Eating philosophy for recovery. We aid in strengthening our clients' relationship with food and body through mindful eating techniques coupled with nutrition education for sustainable health.
